? Provide leadership to personnel within the Production Department.
? Implement effective work methods and efficient use of materials, capacity, and production equipment.
? Ensure achievement of legal requirements with regard to safety, health, the well being of individuals, product liability, and environmental issues.
? Compilation of production plans and required staffing.
? Control of production progress and provision of reports.
? Under direction of the Manager of Commerce, provision of suitably experienced production personnel to carry out Field Service requirements.
? Suggestion to accept an order into manufacturing from Production Engineering Manager.
? Completion of orders according to project conditions.
? Provision of status reports to Finance and Engineering Managers with regard to order progress.
? End test and sign off on equipment to achieve acceptance by the Production Engineering Department.
? Timely initiatives to control capacity according to Commercial expectations.
? Participate as an active member of the Management Team.
? Formulate and implement the Manufacturing plan.
? Ensure realization of the financial plan within the areas of Production.
? Promote the continuous improvement process within production and quality.
? Provide objective evidence that the quality system delivers the necessary targets set by the company and that the method by which they are achieved is effective.
